Narcissism is said to be present in the personalities of a subset of people. A Narcissist is thinking about themselves, their feelings, their wants, their desires. A Narcissist sees themselves as very, very special. Narcissists tend not to care about the feelings and rights of other people. The Narcissist may love you right now but could flip on a dime. Sociopaths are a small subset of people. The Sociopath is not thinking about feelings and rights of other people. The Sociopath may lie, cheat, steal. The Sociopath does not have a 'conscience'.
